Working with Windows Image (WIM) files

The Windows Automated Installation Kit (WAIK) is a powerful set of tools for IT people to make lots of things happen with Windows 7.

One of the best, and most promising is the WindowsPE boot disk.

Using a WindowsPE boot disk and Microsoft’s own imagex.exe you can make a very nice windows backup image.
